West Indies have announced their fifteen-member T20 world cup 2021 squad on 9 September. The squad is led by Kieron Pollard and looks very strong for the upcoming T20 event.
Gayle, an experienced left-handing batsman, is included in the 2022 T20 world cup West Indies squad. He is the key man at the top and had played many world cups so far and this is going to be his yet another world cup. He Has played 74 T20Is scoring 14 half-centuries and 2 centuries. Gayle along with Lewis could prove devastating for the opposition.

Hetmyer, who has established himself as an important member in the middle order since his debut in January 2018, has been selected in the squad. Andre Fletcher and Nicholas Pooran will be the wicket-keepers. Darren Bravo, another experienced player, is in Reserves.
Their first T20 cricket world cup 2022 match will be on 23 Oct against England.
