The International League T20, or ILT20, is the newest addition to the world of T20 cricket leagues. Owned by the United Arab Emirates, the league is set to begin on January 13th, 2023 with an extravagant opening ceremony.
The league promises to be a treat for cricket fans as some of the best players from around the world will be seen in action. Many of the players are expected to be picked in the upcoming auctions as well. The league will also provide a platform for young and upcoming players to showcase their talent.

Format
The format of the league is a Round Robin, where each team plays against every other team once. The top four teams with the most points at the end of the league stage will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete in the semi-finals and finals to determine the champion.
Teams
DP World ILT20 2023 league will feature six IPL style teams from the UAE, each representing a different city or region. The teams are:
- Abu Dhabi Knight Riders
- Desert Vipers
- Dubai Capitals
- Gulf Giants
- MI Emirates
- Sharjah Warriors.
Venues
The matches will be held at three of the UAE’s premier cricket venues:
Each of these venues has a seating capacity of over 20,000 and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for the players and spectators.
ILT20 2023 Schedule
The league will run for a month, with the final match scheduled for February 12th, 2023. With a month-long schedule, fans can expect to see plenty of action-packed matches with plenty of runs, wickets, and thrilling finishes.
