About CPL
The Caribbean Premier League is a cricket tournament that has been around since 2013 and was founded to encourage the sport in countries all over West Indies Region. It’s one of four major Twenty20 competitions, along with IPL (India), PSL (Pakistan), and Big Bash League (Australia). The CPL features very high-profile players who participate each year in a big prize pool. This league also provides an easy viewing experience through TV channels or YouTube videos after every game!
It is one of the most popular and most followed domestic T20 leagues in the world. The CPL has been around for a number of years, but it gained newfound popularity when the international cricket team the West Indies won the T20 World Cup in 2016.

Previous Seasons of the Caribbean Premier League
CPL 2013: was played completely in Trinidad and Tobago. Jamaica Tallawahs won the first CPL.
CPL 2014: Barbados Tridents won the Cup by defeating Guyana Amazon Warriors in Warner Park, St Kitts and Nevis.
CPL 2015: Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel won the cup in Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago. Barbados Tridents were the runner-up.
CPL 2016: Jamaica Tallawahs won the cup in Warner Park, St Kitts and Nevis. Guyana Amazon Warriors were the runner-up.
CPL 2017: Trinbago Knight Riders won their first title in Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago . St Kitts & Nevis Patriots were the runner-ups.
CPL 2018: Trinbago Knight Riders won their second title in Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago . Guyana Amazon Warriors were the runner-up.
CPL 2019: Barbados Tridents won their second title in Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago . Guyana Amazon Warriors were the runner-up.
CPL 2020: Trinbago Knight Riders won their third title in Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago . St Lucia Zouks were the runner-up.
CPL 2021: St Kitts & Nevis Patriots won their first title in Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis. Saint Lucia Kings was the runner-up.
CPL 2022: Jamaica Tallawahs won CPL 10 in Providence Stadium. Barbados Royals was the runner-up.
Caribbean Premier League Schedule 2023
The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2023 schedule dates are confirmed by the Windies Cricket Board, the league is all set to take place from August 16 to September 24 at Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Barbados, and Saint Lucia. According to the Hero CPL 2023 Schedule, a total of 34 matches will be played in a Round Robin Method.
Four Teams will reach the Playoffs and there will be two Qualifiers and there will be one Eliminator and then a Final, which will give the teams 2 chances to qualify for the CPL 2023 Final.
