History
During the 1990s, this ground contained two stands and lights. But in 2003, reconstruction started by adding Chappell Stands. In 2010, significant developments happened in the arena, but the heritage-listed scoreboard, fig tree, and the Northern mound remained the same.

In 2008, the space on this ground was 40,000 people. Currently, the seating capacity of Adelaide Oval is 55,317. But the biggest crowd it hosted was 70,000 people for Adele’s concert in 2017.

The seating chart of this ground is divided into five levels, corporate box, and suites. Western Stand consists of members’ rooms, SACA president, and committee rooms, mainly providing L1 and L2 seating. East Gate and ticket office lie behind Eastern Stand, offering stadium club, restaurant, and bar. Riverbank Stand is south of the stadium with premiership suites, rows for general visitors, and a refreshment corner.
